Real feedback from the people we serve
Corey was the best person to work with. He handled everything from start to finish — found the roof damage, got on a call with my insurance to explain it, and helped open the claim. When the adjuster came out for inspection, Corey met him at the house and walked him through every point of damage in person. Complete roof was replaced with premium shingles. He coordinated and scheduled the roofer, gutter installer, and fence contractor himself, keeping everything on track so the whole project finished on time. He also fully replaced all the roof vents with new ones. Even though insurance only covered partial damage to the fence, Corey had the entire fence power washed and stained, not just the damaged section. That's the kind of extra effort he put in throughout the whole project. When the work was done, he cleaned up completely and hauled away all the debris — didn't leave a trace behind. He finished with a full walk-through, going over everything with me personally. Corey never cut a single corner and honestly did more than he ever promised. Highly recommend him to anyone needing roofing work done right.
Daniel is a great person to work with. He is easy to reach, very responsive, and takes the time to explain everything clearly throughout the work. I highly recommend Daniel and Viking Roofing for anyone looking for reliable, professional roofing services!
Are you tired of dishonest, dubious, or at least indifferent tradesmen? Daniel Brosseit with Viking Roofing is your remedy. He is the most honest guy out there and a jack of all trades to boot. I cannot say enough good things about him. I had been soliciting bids on what I thought was a roof leak. Roofers would come out, look around, take pictures, and maybe crawl on the roof. None questioned my assessment, which was based on nothing but knowing water was causing dampness and mould on the drywall near the ceiling in a closet that abuts the roof. All of them quoted me many thousands of dollars to "fix" the roof. Dan and an assistant came out and poured water on the roof repeatedly in an attempt to replicate the leak. Time and time again he found no evidence of a leak. Either by intuition or experience, he supposed the origin of the problem was the adjoining HVAC unit, and lo and behold that really was the problem. A crack in a copper HVAC pipe was releasing water and causing the mould. He absolutely nailed it. There I was prepared to pay thousands of dollars to fix a problem that would not have fixed the problem, and in the end the whole thing cost me hundreds of dollars, not thousands. I'm grateful for the savings for sure, but had the problem persisted I would most certainly have bigger problems than a new roof I didn't need. When I tried to pay him something for his time, explaining how much money, time, and sheer aggravation he saved me, he refused to take a nickel. "Estimates are free," he said, adding, "we love to do roofs, but you don't have a roof problem." God bless Dan, and for those reading this, please strongly consider him for your next job. You won't be disappointed.
